Overall, my experience with the salesman Kieran has been extremely positive. He has been exceptionally helpful throughout the process, and I genuinely appreciate the time and effort he invested in supporting my enquiry.However, I do feel that BMW’s support for potential customers in Northern Ireland could be improved. Schemes such as Rookie to Rider place NI customers at a financial disadvantage compared with those on the mainland, as we must factor in additional travel and accommodation costs to access BMW training centres. This means that many of the financial incentives offered by BMW are effectively lost for NI buyers.A similar issue arises with the current F900GS promotion, which includes a two‑day off‑road skills course at BMW’s training centre in Wales. While this may not be accessible to all mainland customers, it is even more challenging for Northern Ireland buyers, who again face significant additional travel and accommodation costs that reduce the value of the offer.Additionally, due to the low uptake of these schemes in Northern Ireland, sales staff understandably have limited experience in processing or applying the associated vouchers. This can lead to uncertainty during the purchasing process.My intention in raising this is not to criticise the dealership or staff — who have been excellent — but to highlight an area where BMW could enhance support and accessibility for customers in Northern Ireland.
