Sales man was called Conor McDIarmid. Booked a test drive of Citroen Space Tourer. They didnt have one so said they would borrow a similar vehicle from another manufacturer. COnor knew we were driving an hour to the dealership. He also knew as it was a motability enquiry that we needed to test my daughter special seat in the car. On arrival he did not have a test vehicle. He was able to show us a customers vehicle in for servicing but we could not sit in it let alone drive it. We were told the initial estimate of 8 weeks delivery would now be around 6 months. We still hoped to order the vehicle. Phonecalls over the following few days were not returned. Then COnor got in contact to say another customer had cancelled an order - different model but available much faster. We agreed to come in and place an order despite still not having had a test drive and concerns over our daughters mobility aids fitting this model. I made an appointment with Conor. On the morning of the appointment he cancelled saying he had double booked himself and advised the order could be placed by phone if i emailed my daughter award letter to him. He arranged a phone appointment later that day and i sent over the document. He never called. One week later I placed an order with another dealership. Over a month after that COnor called me with the "great " news that he is now ready to tag the car with our name! I am advising everyone to steer clear of Charles Hurst. I don't know if its just an attitude that makes motability customers 2nd class citizens or the general level of service these days. But it would be worth remembering that our motability vehicle is only one of the vehicles we purchase. Other family members also need vehicles. Furthermore, I have led the purchase of a number of company vehicles from CH over the last few years and will take those sales elsewhere too.

The salesman was extremely helpful

Delighted with whole operation Specifically for the arrangement of collection and return delivery. Staff could not have been any more helpful or efficient. Ten out of ten. I am so glad I chose to stay with Citroen for my current mobility car.

Ok thanks

Dear Sir or Madam,I am making this complaint on behalf of my father, John O'Brien.Due to the manufacturer's recall of certain Citroen models as a result of an airbag fault, my father had an appointment booked with your Balmoral garage (Belfast) for 29 January 2026. During January 2026, I rescheduled this appointment for Monday 09 February, with the understanding that the vehicle would be collected from my father's house on the day.The car was not collected on Monday 09 February. When my father and I pursued the matter today, he has been offered an appointment on 16 April 2026 instead. Please explain why the booking for 09 February was not honored. My father has an MOT appointment scheduled for the vehicle on 19 February 2026 in Belfast. We would appreciate that the car is collected and the airbag repairs made before 19 February.Thank you.
