Travelled up from Coleraine to have a prebooked testdrive , only to be told on arrival that the car i wanted to drive wasnt available . Totaly wasted morning.

Car was delivered with no V5c document, Full Service History (as advertised) and no rear parcel shelf. They failed to help and my email were ignored, I had to involved the Motor Ombudsman to support me.

The AA confirmed that there was a complete absence of oil in the engine and this has resulted in significant damage and repair bill.We suspect that when the service was carried out the oil that was drained out of the engine was not replaced resulting in major damage.There has been no oil leek and only several thousand miles have been driven since the car was serviced. The oil warning light did come on and we had no reason to suspect the car was low on oil.I therefore believe your garage is fully liable for the costs incurred due to the failure to correctly complete the service.I have enclosed the receipt from the AA showing what damage to the engine occurred and costs to repair it.Document number for service carried out in February 7305309I look forward to your prompt attention to this matterYours faithfullyAndrew MacIntyre

My Jeep compass is over revving and and jumping through lower gears. This is happening constantly, whether accelerating quickly or passively. Also the car lost power whilst driving on the motorway. I supplied Jeep with the date this happened but I was given no explanation. With regards to the over revving and gears not selection being off, I was informed by a Jeep staff member in Charles Hurst that this was an issue and when I asked for an extended testing of the car, I was told that this is a "characteristic" of the Jeep compass. Anyone who has ever driven an automatic car could tell that there is something faulty with the gear changes.
