MY jeep was recalled for the spoiler, I had been in contact with the dealership to inform them my spoiler had broken off in between booking and apt as there was a 10 week wait for an apt! I took a day off work and had to keep my child off from school to travel to Charles hurst as I live approx 34 miles away. They kept the vehicle for 4 hours for me to arrive back ad my vehicle to still be in the same situation. Emma who greeted me and was dealing with me was more than helpful however a the gentleman who was examining and supposed to be fixing the spoiler was rude and told me that they had to wait for the part as it was such an old model and that I hadn't advised them that it was in fact broken which I did and I have evidence to show this. He reiterated the fact it was such an 'old vehicle' and that it would have been a two part appt any way as the spoiler would need to be colour coded. I sent a complaint to Emma and she forwarded onto management who never once had the courtesy to ring me. Emma in the meantime arranged for my jeep to be collected for the new spoiler to be fixed on. It was supposed to take 1 hour at most. Jeep was collected very promptly by Rab who was very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. I was not left with any other vehicle and on that day I had to take my son to A&E to have an X-ray done and cast put on. I had to take my parents vehicle to do this. AS I was in the hospital I received a call from Emma to say my vehicle wouldn't be ready as whoever was assessing my vehicle had not noticed it needed a part for the camera. to say I was disappointed was an understatement. they had the vehicle 4 hours to assess it and still missed this. Emma sorted a car for me and jeep was fixed and sent back approx 4 the following day. Emma was amazing and this 5 stars above are solely for her and Rab. Management are an absolute disgrace and the same for the gentleman assessing my vehicle who spoke to me in the dealership. Id like to thank Emma for the flowers and teddy but I have still to this day not received any apology from management or a reply to my complaint. Do Charles Hurst not have a complaints policy and procedure in place??
