My car is 3.5 yrs old with 20000 miles.The last service (and first) was at 2 yrs old with about 10000. I have a service plan and I think 10000 miles is too long between services. When I phoned to ask for the service I was told I did not need a service yet. However I replied that LR recommend that if doing a number of short journeys servive should take place more often whereupon a service was accepted. I do a combination of some long and some short journeys. I am concerned about a number of engine failures in this 2 ltr Ingenium engine.oil pump failures and or big end failures so I wanted the oil changed earlier. I would like your comments on these failures. Otherwise very happy with the car

The experience with Charles Hurst Landrover was overall a good one. However, this experience was only marred by the interactions with Landrover Finance….. to say the least it was appalling. My new vehicle was delayed, that was something out of everyone’s control. I have lost count as to how many calls were made to Finance, they never called me, just a text telling me to call them!!?? The proposal number was given to them 6 times and twice the balloon payment was taken from my account with no warning. Eventually after numerous phone calls I found myself talking to Mark who quickly sorted everything and passed my case onto the complaints dept and yet again no one has been in contact. I’ve now been waiting 4 months to hear from them. Landrover is a luxury brand and as such you expect your experience to reflect that. Charles Hurst were extremely helpful and Jack Bond went above and beyond to try sort everything out. I would suggest you offer your finance dept some extra training not only on how to problem solve but also with customer care. Not one person from finance has ever contacted me, each and every time I had to contact them. The last phone call I made was to extend the finance agreement once again, I was told that I wouldn’t be getting any more extensions (if my new vehicle hadn’t arrived then would I be paying for my old vehicle in full) The vehicle delay was out of everyone’s control, however Finance seemed to believe that it was business as usual. The new vehicle has now arrived and it will be interesting to see how smooth the changeover from one finance agreement to another will be. Something tells me that it won’t. In short, the sales team especially Jack were a joy to work with, the Finance team were an absolute disaster. So much so, it was causing stress and anxiety. The whole Landrover experience was tarnished by your Finance Dept and as I stated before, I still await a response from the Complaints Dept.. I’m not holding my breath!

Have been dealing with Land Rover Hurst for many years and have never been disappointed. However this time with some restrictions lifted my car was valeted---- super. Great.

Emma very good in service dept. Couldn’t really understand the mechanic who assessed my vehicle on the report that was sent to me. Communication wasn’t great. Overall experience very good though.

Vehicle was not washed or cleaned. After spending £2600 on repairs and servicing i really did expect it to be at least washed and cleaned. I was told beforehand that my vehicle was ready for collection and was just "in getting washed" On my arrival an hour later this certainly wasn't the case.

Staff were really friendly and helpful as always. I would recommend to family and friends.
