We found Martin Burns, showroom manager an excellent, informative, friendly and most professional person to deal with. No pressure was exerted and the financial transaction was very fair. He listened carefully and actioned a recent grievance we had which assisted to restore our confidence with the firm. He is a credit to the reputation and image of Charles Hurst.

...I presented the car in early December for a service with one warning light on. The service spotted an issue wiht the exhaust that needed repairing and replacing [superb video and explanation] and the cost ran to GBP3k and a day over on completion. During this time I found the service agent [Lou] slightly disconnected from me in terms of being able to contact him to see when it would be done [no direct dial number, phone rings out when dialing in etc. and I am extremely busy on calls and cannot take inbound calls for 90% of the time so missed each other several times......I did appreciate a discount on the cost for that service, many thanks......I got the car back and then a few days later the warning light came back on [same light] and the power dropped, the car moved to low power mode and I pulled over. I called from the side of the road [23rd December] and there was no answer. I then called a tow truck to bring it to Belfast after the break [EUR400] and got it there before new year......once it was inspected it was explained to me by Sarah Jane O'Hare [excellent, highly responsive, superb communication skills, excellent employee] that the seal at the turbo had gone and this led to the oil leaking out and the turbo ceasing and needing full replacement. I was keen to get this in writing to consider might this have been caught in the first service but that was not forthcoming. The estimate then ran to over GBP3k including a coller replacement and in fairness to Sarah Jane [excellent employee, top class] she explained it was hard luck, nothing they could foresee at the service and agreed to settle the account at GBP3k......today I collected the car and hope, beyond hope, this is the end of my troubles with it. On collection Sarah Jane was absolutely excellent, she even gave us a [much appreciated] voucher for a breakfast in the cafe next door. She is brilliant......my only disappointment is the disconnect between the GBP3k service adn this issue arising. Surely if the seal was gone on the turbo it should have been spotted at the service? Are there any diagnostics around this, once that service was complete? I am keen to hear back on that point......please can you come back to me on the points above?......finally I would like to recommend Sarah Jane as an outstanding employee and wish her all the best in her career there or wherever it takes her, she is excellent...Best regards,John Geoghegan

I'd just like to thank David Hall for looking after me so well over the past number of months especially given the ongoing issues in the motor trade. I've dealt with David a few times now over the last 10 years and always find him to be a gentleman, very personable and nothing is ever too much trouble and I cant recommend him highly enough. He always has a good handle on my needs and I'm really looking forward to using and enjoying my latest vehicle that he arranged for me. The video message received from him yesterday was also a very nice touch. So once again David thank you very much and I look forward to both meeting and dealing with you again in the future

Interacted with various people over the course of the time my car was in - most were average to be honest, except one. Michael Convery.Michael is first class, professional, courteous, helpful and empathetic - and even left a token gift for the inconvenience. Perfect approach from what is meant to be a premium brand. Its a pity they all weren't like him.

Thank you to Mark for all his help in sorting out a complete fiasco. I was sold a plan that wasn't fit for purpose when I purchased the vehicle in August 2020. Thankfully Mark and Michael no doubt in the background were able to get this problem sorted.
