Good visit.

I booked a service online for today.I got an email confirming that my car was booked for a service today. My car was in fact booked in for Wednesday. The first I knew was when I went to the dealer to leave my car off. The staff member informed me that they phoned to confirm, and that the email is not really a final booking. There is NOTHING in the email that indicates this. This frustrating system has wasted my time this morning, and must be frustrating for your staff as well.

My car was in for services and at the end of February my car developed a fault with the engine, I had no prior warning of this as there was no warning lights on my dashboard. I rang service deparment in Newtownards about issue and branch didn't want to know as it was out of warranty. The engine has obviovously fault.

Out of being there for 1 hour I only was speaking with someone, at different times for about 20 mins. Great discussions went on in the 'office'.

The interaction was good. The only problem we had was the lack of service history for the vehicle we were looking at. The missing history was not possible for the sales staff to resolve, however they did offer us an extended warranty of 2 yrs instead of 1 year. This might have been acceptable to mitigate our risk, however the feedback came to us too late and we had already made two long road trips to Newtownards and therefore decided to buy a car closer to our home.

Hello, I bought a pre registration Nissan Juke on the 25th of February and part exchanged my 22 month old Juke. I received a letter from DVLA on Saturday 21st of March stating i needed to tax my new car or SORN it immediately or face £1000 fine. I was absolutely shocked to receive this notification and was totally unaware the tax had been cancelled by Nissan Newtownards. To think i have been driving on the road without tax and effectively without insurance because of this has scared me and left wondering what might have happened if i had been in an accident, or has a ANPR camera has spotted my car on the road without tax and what consequences are to follow.Secondly, and not so big an issue but still unacceptable was the fact that the salesman said at handover the V5 was in the glovebox which i thought was a bit strange as dozens of times when changing cars the dealer has always sent the V5 to DVLA and you receive the new document in your name by post. However, when i went to get the V5 at home i discovered the fuse box cover was left lying in the glovebox as well (not refitted when taking the car out of transportation mode by the workshop), also the next day when familiarising myself with the new digital screen i noticed the tyre pressures were 40 to 43psi which were way too high (i think plant shipping pressures had not been checked at pdi). Both of these concerns were fed back to the sales department so they were aware and i fitted the fuse cover myself based on my vehicle knowledge and its a 200 mile round trip to the dealer.I am 67 years old and driven for over 50 years and always had insurance and road tax in place. 26 years of my working life was spent with Nissan, 10 years at NTC-E Design and 16 years at NMUK as a Quality Assurance Engineer so i wanted to show Nissan in a positive light which is why i gave Charles Hurst a 5 star review on trust pilot the day after i bought the car However had i known the letter was to arrive from DVLA just over 3 weeks later the review would not merit 1 star. I would appreciate feedback from yourselves and i will be informing Nissan Customer Service for their attention, something which i was not going to do if this tax issue had not emerged.
