I got a letter from Toyota recalling our car for a replacement fuel pump. I was originally booked in for 12 August and on the morning of 12th Aug I got a phone call to say not to come with the car as 2 mechanics were off with covid and I was booked to come on 19th aug. Again on 19th aug I got another phone call to tell me not to come as the part wasn’t there. I was told I would get a phone call with a new appt date and time. I waited a few weeks and nothing. I phoned them myself and the guy I spoke to said he had nothing in the books that I had 2 previous appts which were cancelled. My problem was that I had to get a friend to travel 12 miles from his house to mine to drive his car to your garage to bring me home and to take me back to collect my vehicle when it was ready. For this to have happened twice was very annoying and the fact I wasn’t phoned with another appointment wasn’t showing good management on your part. When I got to hursts the 2 young men on reception were very polite and apologetic about what had happened.
