I purchased a Toyota RAV4 Black (Reg: YNZ7854) from Charles Hurst Dundonald on 27 May 2026. The car was delivered on 28 May 2026.The vehicle was delivered without obtaining the right V5C from previous owner. As an authorised dealership, I trusted you to ensure all required documents were completed before delivery.The dealership failed to obtain a new V5C with the original registration before delivery, causing significant inconvenience. It is18 days now still waiting for the the green slip which is required to tax the vehicle. During this period, DVLA advised me to keep the car off the road, resulting in additional taxi expenses for me.I was also incorrectly advised by your dealership that I could legally drive the vehicle using the previous owner’s tax and ownership details. This was misleading and could have caused serious issues in the event of an accident, especially as my insurance was issued with me listed as the owner.I hold Charles Hurst Toyota responsible for the stress, inconvenience, and additional costs caused during this period.I expect a prompt response and satisfactory resolution. Failing this, I will consider escalating the matter further.

We were treated with respect and confidence which helped in our enquiry. We had previously bought a Toyota there from Joshua Alexander so we’re glad to have his help again.

We found the sales person less than enthusiastic. He barely explained anything about the car, including how to start the car and put it into driving mode. We felt like we were an imposition and not worthy of his time as we were just Motability customers.

Despite ongoing efforts and numerous phone calls, I am still awaiting my registration document for Toyota Ago X, JSZ 6816.

It would have been five stars but for one little issue, we dropped the car off at 09.30 as arranged and were told it would take five hours for completion, we returned at 13.30 to wait for the car to be finished but unfortunately for us the car was still sitting in the same spot where we had originally parked it not touched, fortunately for us an absolute gentleman RYAN who was on the service desk arranged for a courtesy car which was gratefully appreciated.
