The process was smooth and they have a very detailed orientation with follow-ups. This allows customers to have clarity on all aspects when entering a lease. In my case, I had a short turn around time between lease signing and move-in. This did not allow time for the property management team to fully prep the unit. For instance, I did not receive fresh paint and the HVAC and water were not reset in power-save mode. While I did not want to schedule painting after moving my furniture in, the maintenance team was quick to respond to the HVAC and water issues. I hope this is the exception rather than the norm, because the lease does state that a tenant is supposed to pay for property management approved cleaning and painting services on move out.

Our three-year experience renting a townhouse with Chesapeake Property Management was a good one. Every person I interacted with was consistently pleasant, professional, and patient--even those times when I was less than "chirpy."

I think your office does a good job. Since we were not always there, it would be helpful to know when repairs are made when requested. An email or a note left by the repairman. Also, we moved out in mid June, it is now almost been two months and we have not received any of our deposit returned.

Chesapeake property Mgmt group was great work. My experience as a tenant under their management was stress-free from start to finish. The tenant portal for auto payments and maintenance issues allowed for business tracking and communication between parties. I highly recommend this Mgmt group.

Very professional and seamless process through out rental process. Very flexible in my moving out process and considerate of me and my family during Covid. Never had any issues putting in work orders or getting repairs done. Quick response times to any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend anyone who needs a professional management company to rent from or to manage property.
