YES, we need an LGBTQ unit so the patients can feel comfortable. There is a large population that needs help in the community. Some have started to attend treatment at CBH and have voiced their needs to me on the treatment units. I am happy when I see members of this population working toward mental health at CBH. Please consider this seriously. I think it could begin with 3 west.We need to remember how we like to be talked with. I said "talked with" not talked to. Too many times, I see people talk to patients like we are in a jail. I have worked with police and within jails. This is not a jail.

I consistently see techs with finger nails that are 2 inches or longer, which is a safety concern for both patient and staff. Also see staff with extremely long hair, which could be a safety concern for that staff member if a patient got aggressive.
I think management needs to be reevaluated. I think they need to work on improving staff engagement and satisfactionStaff is unsafe
