Acute units need more structure and support. People don’t work together and help each other, people will refuse to do things that is part of their job. People power struggle and don’t wanna listen to each other. Management doesn’t take what unit staff says into account sometimes.

Many things. Prioritize your employees and their security for work. Upgrade this equipment, maintain and make big changes to the building to make it sustainable, provide snacks for the patients. More food communication in portions, allergies so patients can get the right food

I think the hospital should not give patients a discharge dates because that’s when behaviors change

Job training

Staffing

Pay, morale

Communication, respect and passive aggressive behavior for supervisors and staff.

Better pay raises.

Review the staffing for caring for the sickest of the sick. Hard to believe that these facilities are all the same, when you are transferring patients from the other hospitals to us.

More staff on weekends
