Adequate Meals for diabetic and more protein in the patients plate as some medication makes them hungry, snacks, underwear, and pay rate

It feels like every decision that is made is due to money. We can’t have working heat or air conditioning. The building is falling apart. We won’t put pts on one to ones due to not wanting to pay for extra staff. The minute a unit census falls below 16 they are sending nurses home regardless of incoming admissions. We can’t even have hygiene bins on the unit. They ask people to pick up but then cancel on scheduled days to ensure they don’t pay anyone overtime. Having and using PTO is a joke. It has never been this bad and I only foresee it getting worse.
