1. Competitive pay rates.2. Better communication between departments3. Introduce wellness and professional development initiativesThis past year has been challenging and, at times, demotivating. The increasing focus on profit has been discouraging, as our primary purpose is to serve patients, not just meet numerical goals. I hope that the new leadership recognizes the value of our work and invests in strengthening our facility and staff, rather than prioritizing external projects that divert attention and resources from patient care.

1. Better insurance. Pretty bad when our provider is not accepted by our IOP.2. Evaluation at a higher level of the pay practices for those working in IOP. Why are we hourly when the inpatient therapist essentially perform the same job functions yet are paid salary.3. A safer work environment for all. Know "we take the sickest of the sick" but either provide us with battle pay, more resources to control them, or take less of them.
