Managers should be visible in the unit. They will only come in the morning to get the reports.More food for the patients. Staffs on the floor always get the blame for inadequate food. Kitchen will send 7 bananas for 30 patients as if bananas are treats for the patients.Removing 1:1 supervision of patients even if it’s still needed only because of staffing.Management will not allow to block patients room even if the patient is aggressive and punching every roommate without provocation.

Fixing/working on some of the more “unimportant” things instead of ignoring them completely or just saying something along the lines of “oh, well that rarely happens so we will see.” For example, question 36 you give the option to “select all that apply” but only allow one option to be selected. That would be a good first step. Also having easy to access/find protocols.

We could benefit from a better EMR, faster computers in the doctor lounge

Keeping each unit clear and free of items in the hallwayHaving staff for acuity not numbersMore appreciation from upper management to staff. Telling people they are doing a good job and you genuinely appreciate them goes a long way.I think having a way to anonymously report inappropriate actions by staff would be helpful

-Greater organization, communication, and collaboration across departments. There's way too many papers everywhere and with changes happening all the time, it's hard to keep track of what's actual updated information.-Greater attention to groups because if CBH follows a group therapy model, we are not reflecting that. There should be a greater emphasis on equipping each unit with items needed for patients (and scheduled replenishing) to stay occupied and MHTs should NOT be the sole people who engage patients because they are supposed to focus on patient safety not teach therapeutic skills! There should be more therapists to lead groups throughout the day and evening shifts.-Outdoor space. There is a lot of unethical documentation going on and inconsistencies. There is also way too much emphasis on numbers and budget instead of quality care. It's disheartening that patients are receiving bare minimum programming and watching TV for the majority of their stay - it's no wonder staff are getting hurt because patients are not actually engaged in therapeutic programing during the day! Passing out worksheets is not a group.
