Came in for a computer software update on our 18 CRV. Got an appointment immediately. Set for 7 am, but I didn’t learn the techs didn’t get in till 8 or I’d have dropped the vehicle the night before. Other than that glitch all was fine. I do think that since this problem has been on Hondas books since 2019, the company should have made this a free update, but that’s not Coggins issue.

eric added a 4 wheel alignment to the buy 3 get 4th tire free estimate when i called to get price. he explained it was required with the 4th tire free deal. i reviewed my coupon and it states nothing about requiring a alignment. i drove to coggin honda ft pierce and waited to speak with dan as i’ve dealt with him before and appreciate his opinion. first question for dan was is alignment required with the 4 th tire free deal. he promptly answered no. i continued the service without the 139$ alignment and was very happy with all but eric who obviously directly and without hesitation added a upsale to my estimate. he further added why wouldn’t you get the alignment tires are expensive. but never backed off the required alignment with the 4th tire deal. answer is to eric. because i have owned many vehicles and have only got alignments when tire wear or steering showed it was needed. later when i got a survey coming in email notice it was from the service manager that is also named eric. i think it’s the same eric. at this time i have lost confidence in coggin ft pierce to advise honestly. there is no way i would send my wife or daughters there as i’m sure that upsale items are being pushed as a recommended practice for the service agents. in summary my trust was erased by eric trying to get another 139$ out of me and stating when questioned about the requirement off the alignment why wouldn’t you. guess that was to make the customer feel stupid for not getting it done. well don’t feel stupid just upset at the way i was advised by eric. he even said during the estimate call i gotcha good. that is odd but suppose i was to feel he was in my corner.

Husband came in, I stayed home.

Everyone I worked quth qas welcoming and helpful. They wantes to ensure I srove away in the vehicle I wanted. The Coggin team was amazing.

The sales guy Joshua was very helpful. My husband told him I had a bad experience and I needed to calm down. After I called , asked what was my goal and what I really was trying to buy. He was super patient with me. Joshua showed me at least 4 cars. At last the very last car came home with me. I was super excited & felt that he went above and beyond to help me.

This was my third in a row Honda from Coggin Honda. Satisfaction keeps customers coming back. There was a sincere effort by the dealer to make this deal work. Everyone I dealt with was professional, polite and informed. Hopefully, there will be a deal number four in the future.
