I came into deal with a power steering issue where the tie rods were broken. I had my vehicle in several times over the last couple of months but this issue was never discovered on inspections. I was able to get an appt and bring it in. Gabe took care of the initial assessment. He told me it would take 3 days for parts and service. The second day I heard nothing about my car and this was because Gabe was off and no one was assigned to contact me. Poor communication on Coggin's part. I called at 4 pm and a tech had to keep asking the mechanics what they did each time I asked a new question. This should have been handled better by assigning a tech to my car and letting me know what was going on. I appreciate the work Gabe and the mechanics did to get my car back working and helping with the fees, since I had just come in for an alignment less than 1000 mi before this happened. Was also happy that my car was washed this time, but I did have to ask for it when it should be done automatically , like it says on the paperwork. Also, if the mechanics turn things off on a car they should reset it to what the owner had when brought in. Every time my car is worked on -the headlights and overhead lights are turned off. This makes it harder to read the settings when getting my car back in the pitch dark of winter and resetting all controls in the parking lot before I can drive it.
