I had gotten into an accident here in Tallahassee where a college kid totaled my car. Since I am a diehard, never will ever drive an automatic car, I had my work cut out for me finding something. My local Honda, Proctors, never prove to be helpful at all, so in searching for something, I decided to look at Coggin since I have heard great things and know they rule Jax and the outlying suburbs.Since I did this over the internet, I was pleased to have Deb reach out to me immediately. She knew exactly what I needed and the situation that I was in. I haven't had a car payment in 15 years and she was very helpful in assisting me find something that was in my budget range. In fact, we spoke so often, that I felt as though I could trust her even without having met her in person first.I knew that my payments would be on the higher side due to my working on my credit the last year and a half and Deb and David took that into consideration. I decided on the pearly white Honda Civic SI, which I was not familiar with - my totaled car was an Accord Sport 6 speed.Between David and Deb, they made the process seamless. Was thrilled that Coggin was able to drive my car to me since I am a good 4 hours away. Unfortunately, I will have to be returning to get the driver side passenger door window tinting fixed but that will give me an opportunity to meet David and Deb in person as well as see others close friends while I am there.I found Coggin and the staff to be extremely professional, helpful and honest - which most car dealers are not these days as they are only concerned about the bottom line and getting their portion of it.I am still getting used to a smaller, but more powerful car but overall....other than the kid who totaled my car getting off with just a slap on the wrist (no insurance; expired DR; title/registration lapsing; and almost getting evicted from his apartment) I love my car! Cannot wait to decorate her with my FSU Football and College of Law gear as well as my Washington University College of Law Alumni stuff. :-)
