I brought my vehicle in for an oil change and possibly new tires. Chris Boykin was my advisor. Prior to Chris, Darius was always my advisor. However, I lost confidence in Darius when my vehicle had 41k miles on it and he recommended I purchase my third set of new tires. I did some research which suggested the run flat tires I wanted don't last long. However, three sets in 41K miles seemed like a lot. So I took my car to another tire center for a second opinion. The tech there said my tires were good for many more miles. So I put 7k more on them. I then asked Darius about getting new tires. He said Toyota didn't sell the run flat tires (DriveGuard Plus or Taranza) any more and recommended some regular tires. Now this worried me because there is no place in my car to carry a spare and I worried I would have a flat on a hot day and be sitting on a highway for hours with dogs and grand babies waiting for AAA to repair the tire. So, at that time, I told Darius no thanks. I would look around to other car places for the tires. I hadn't purchased any tires yet but had to bring my car in for an oil change during my most recent visit which was when I saw Chris. I was quite surprised when Chris said he could have my run flat tires ready to install by one o'clock that afternoon. That was great and I was happy to have the new run flat tires installed. Unfortunately, my bill was over 2k when they had to clean the fuel injection system, which I must do some research on to see how necessary this process is. They also added some filters which I was okay with. So, Toyota makes a lot of money off me in the service department. I don't mind paying high prices but please don't take advantage of older customers who know nothing about cars.

Everything was great. Service advisor was helpful and very nice. Work was done fast So I didn't have to wait too long which was really nice.

Juan’s personal attention to my service needs was awesome. They did a complete check of my car and I just needed new break pads.He was also sensitive to the issue I had when I was there on March 24th. I came there with a complaint my car was ”grinding” when I came to a stop.I ended up with new tires. Also, an oil change I didn’t need. They gave me a coupon for a free oil change, since they didn’t even mention it to me before they did it. I had several thousand miles still left on my previous oil change. However, the “grinding” continued.When I stopped by Discount Tire before taking a long trip a little earlier in the year, they said I still had several thousand miles left on them. So, I’m not saying I couldn’t use new tires, but I don’t believe I “needed” new tires more than I need new break pads.My service papers don’t even mention checking for the reason I came in. They would’ve noticed my break pad situation had they checked. I even told my husband I thought it had to do with the break pads, but then I thought they checked for it.I was just disappointed in my service on March 24tg.Thank you.
