My current experience was good but could have been better. However, obtaining an appointment was arduous at best.My reservation was with Josh Martin who stated to me when I made the appointment that he could get me out in 40 minutes since I was only requiring an oil change and tire rotation. When I arrrived 10 minutes early on Saturday morning and met with Josh again, he stated it would be 1 hour and a half. When I informed him that I was told that it would be less than 45 minutes he piped up with “who told you that?”. I informed him that he (Josh) had told me this when I set up the appointment. After he appeared to swallow his words, he stated he could do that. To his credit, my truck was ready in less than 45 minutes.However, I want to tell you that the Coggin appointment system is not working. I went on-line and set up an appointment at your website and as the website indicated, I waited for an email confirmation. I never received a confirmation. In that I didn’t want to drive 30 minutes from the Jax Beach and not have an appointment. I called your Service department several hours before the scheduled appointment and I was unable to talk to anyone; instead, I was forced to leave a voice mail message with a promise to receive a call-back. I never received a call-back or an email confirmation so I did not drive to my appointment.A week later I chatted with someone on your website setting up another appointment for Service. I asked the chat person to please send me an email confirmation or I would not make the appointment. The person told me that placed a note in my appointment. I did not receive an email confirmation and I, once again, did not drive across town to make the appointment not knowing whether I had a valid appointment or not.As I was on that side of town last week, I walked into your Service Center and was directed to Josh Martin. I set up an appointment with Josh and asked if I would receive a confirmation. I informed Josh that I had made several appointments and have not received a confirmation. Once again, I did not receive a confirmation for my most current appointment.I decided to make the appointment anyway since I had made the appointment in-person.Your system is broken. If you expect me to use your website services/chat/phone reservation services, you have to fix the system or you will lose me as a customer since I don’t want to drive an hour round-trip to find out I don’t have an appointment and my wait will be significantly longer.Please address this issue
