I was there for routine maintenance and to check on one of my tires. I ended up having to get a new tire, and the person my appointment was with was very helpful and patient during some technical difficulties we were having. The only issue I have is that I had a question about my tire—specifically which tire was the new one, so I called the service department. They were unable to see that information and got me to the voicemail of the person my appointment had been with. I left a voicemail, but still haven’t heard anything.

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience during my recent visit to Coggin Toyota for service on my truck. First, I’d like to acknowledge "E" for their outstanding customer service. They were quick, articulate, and genuinely helpful in guiding me through some of the issues.That said, I encountered several challenges during this visit that I believe are worth addressing for clarity and future improvement. I recently learned that Coggin offers a price-match policy on tires, which initially seemed like a great opportunity. Unfortunately, this wasn’t feasible, as none of the vendors we contacted could provide a printed quote. Despite my efforts, which included calling multiple stores and walking into one, I couldn’t obtain a qualifying estimate.Additionally, there was significant exploratory discussion about my truck’s issues, but it felt like not all records were reviewed thoroughly. As a result, services were added that may not have been necessary, and I could have saved approximately $500 by pursuing other options for the same tires elsewhere.I also noticed a shift in the military discount policy, which now caps at $100 rather than a percentage. While "E" made an effort to help me save money, there was some confusion regarding the estimate and the total cost of services. I would have appreciated a final breakdown before any work was done.After giving the truck a few days of driving, I noticed this morning (December 5, 2024) that it is pulling to the right, despite having paid $125 for an alignment. Additionally, when I picked up the truck on December 3, it was not as clean as I had left it. The tires had visible marks and sludge on the rims, despite being washed the day before, and the exterior was dusty.I also found the application of discounts and promotions inconsistent. For instance, a 25% discount on parts from Toyota and an emailed offer for a $40 synthetic oil change could not be applied. It felt as though "E" and Coggin Toyota operate under different systems, and the "one coupon per service" policy seemed restrictive.I’ve been to Coggin Toyota three times now for service and plan to return in the future because of the generally good service. However, this visit left me with concerns about pricing transparency and attention to detail. I’d appreciate your review of these issues and guidance on addressing the alignment problem, as well as suggestions for making the customer experience smoother and more consistent in the future.

Our salesman Sean Wilhelm was fantastic. Very attentative to my needs and responded very quickly to all of my questions. He helped make the process very simple for me as work was keeping me very busy as we worked through the process. My son absolutely loves his new Tacoma. Very happy with the experience overall.
