Although apprehensive dealing with a car dealership, I expressed interest in a new Tundra online. I was contacted by Jim Miller. He sent me the information I was looking for and said to contact him if/when I was ready to move forward. I soon set up a day to stop by and test drive the truck. We briefly talked options and numbers. I decided to put a fully refundable deposit down as the exact truck was not available on site. That was in January and I picked it up this past week. After coming to an agreement with Jim, I was sent to the dreaded finance dept. I came with my own financing so I was interested in what Coggin had to offer. The gentleman I met with (I forgot his name which is unfortunate because I would like to give him his proper recognition) went over some basic warranty information. After that I asked "You're not going to offer my finance options?" He said, " I can't compete with your credit union, there's no use banging my head against the wall trying to get you to use our financing and making you upset with us." I fully respect that. I was in and out in 2 hours. I was surprisingly a very positive experience.
