wish you had quick service, with an appointment should not take 3 hours for an oil change

Elmedin provided exemplary customer service. He went out his way to ensure that my request for service was honored with the coupon I received by email.

Very well organized. Great customer service. Met the deadlines they gave me when I dropped my vehicle off. The work was done accordingly.

I came in to have the recall service done on the rear door latches. Paperwork said it would be about an hour and a half depending on busyness of dealership....which is fine. I think I was there for almost 2.5-3 hours. My only frustration was that I received the text from my service rep stating I could check in to see the status of my car service. I looked multiple times throughout the time that I was waiting there, and it never changed from "Arrival Complete". The stages are "Arrival", "Inspection", "Service", "Final Touches" and "Ready for Pick Up". So I'm not sure what the point of sending a text to your customers so they can follow along with the progress, if the progress never gets updated. I was there like I said for about 2.5 - 3hrs and checked continuously, and then all of sudden I hear my name being called and the told the car is ready. It's not a huge deal...but just don't understand the point of letting customers see what progress stage their vehicle is at, when it's not being updated?
