Our 2018 Highlander makes a chirping or clinking sound when put in gear. It doesn’t do it every time which is why no one can figure out the problem. After taking it home from the shop - what happens? It clunked again...every day at some point the noise occurs. Unfortunately , until it worsens will have to live with it. As long as the vehicle doesn’t leave me stranded we can deal with it.
