The tch first used the vacuum in the laundry room outlet to catch all of the lint that the air line that's fed into the duct would break loose. The issue is that the flapper on the outside vent was not propped open, so the vacuum was just sucking the flapper up against the opening so nothing was sucked out and it put unnecessary vacuum on my ducts inside the walls. I mentioned it to him, and he responds with an attitude like, 'yeah I do this first, then I go open the flapper' and tries to explain how the air line works to break up the lint from the duct. I have had this service from COIT several times over the years, I know how it works. He then wedges the flapper open and proceeded to clean the duct with the air line sprayer from both ends, which is good. After he was done, I started a load of laundry in the dryer. Just to be sure, I went outside and looked at the vent outlet and the flapper was no wedged inside of the duct, so it was wedged closed, and the dryer was not able to exhaust properly. I got up on a ladder and un stuck the flapper, so all is fine. I am just disappointed with the attitude and lack of care to make sure it was all in working order before he left. He definitely was rushing to finish. He showed up early (which is fine), rushed through my job and almost left his ladder on my side yard when he left since he was in a hurry to finish. Not the best service I've had from COIT. I will be buying the back spray air nozzle and doing this cleaning myself from now on.
