Limited staffing effects residents care. Since family member has been a resident, it appears that residents are getting more salads as a main dish. While salads look good and are healthy, some residents require more calories than a salad provides. Last visit 2.5 weeks ago, room and bathroom required cleaning...ie. toilet appeared to not have been cleaned in weeks, tray that resident uses for meals had dried on food that required significant scrubbing to remove using a kitchen scrubber, hot water and soap, as did the place where resident sits. The floor required clean up and there were ants everywhere. Residents are not being checked on enough during some shifts (understaffed?).

Casey and staff make assisted living outstanding. Activities in the paste were minimal. We are very pleased with staff and new activities. My mom Zoe Planetz is up and going everyday. Good job!

I would like to see a list of things covered in the basic AL and what each step up includes. It is a very vague process with no direction unless you ask.

I feel it is good if the resident doesn’t need a lot of assisted care but due to always being short staffed care is poor for those who require careBeing short staffed is why I only give fair and I would not recommend CV for anyone who needs care. I/e my mom. But for my dad who doesn’t CV is just fine and he is happy
