The service rep/agent, Leon, was very helpful and resolved the immediate issue -- someone apparently had sufficient information about me (name, address, phone, ssn, age, security question answers?) to call in and convince someone on your staff to grant them access to my account and they then changed the mailing address and email address. It was at that point (I presume) that I received an email from PSCU asking if it was me that changed the email address. Since it was not, I called and after some verifications were done by Leon, he changed the account number and closed the original account and changed the address and email address back. I'm relieved that this breach was caught but I still have to wonder how that fraudster got through. Leon had me create a verbal password so in the future only I will be able to call in and get through to my account if that route is necessary. Since PCSU has a recording of the impersonator when he gained access, I believe PCSU should assess what else or more can be done to screen such calls to prevent a repeat of such a security breach.
