Blood work at lab for continuous labs post-transplant. I have labs drawn several times throughout the month. I also have a good experience with the girls working in the lab- they are very professional and attentive.

Everyone involved in my pre-op visit was kind and informative. I am very glad to be in contact with Nurse Navigator - quite a relief to be able to ask and get prompt and accurate answers from someone who is so nice (Mr. Dennis). Debby was very valuable in her information and such a kind attitude! I would, however, suggest that all the information given for pre-op be condensed and edited. In addition to a lot of verbal instructions (which I easily forgot), there are also two booklets and several separate sheets of paper with more information. Some of these contained duplicate information, and several sentences that contradicted (i.e., "sips of water" the morning of surgery In the "Preparing... booklet vs. the hand-out that says to drink one Ensure and a bottle of Gatorade that morning). I made a calendar grid with what to do on each day of the week following and after surgery which is easier to refer to instead of re-reading a lot of words and papers in the handouts. Thank everyone for their time and information.

I only visited in order to have labs drawn as my general physician's office has been closed and I have an appointment next week. I'm hearing impaired and the only issue I had was with registration, as I was checked-in, in the public area, rather than an office and it was difficult for me to hear the woman who was doing the registration. (She was rather soft spoken but needed to be for patient privacy, so I understand that). Otherwise the visit was quick. I spent less than 5 minutes in the waiting area before being registered, and less than 5 minutes waiting in the lab area for them to draw blood. Thankfully the lab tech was very proficient and only had to stick me once (usually it takes at least two tries). Overall 4.5 stars out of 5, but that was not an option.
