Quick professional service.

I waited 4 weeks to get a simple 5 minutes CT scan done. After waiting 45 minutes after checking in, the young lady told lady informed me there was a problem with the diagnosis and I would be responsible for $4000 to completed it because Medicare and my supplement had not approved it. She gave me three forms and said I would need to go back to tier1 and have those filled out so they could run through Medicare. While I was running back and forth to tier1, another lady called me from CRMC and said they now had the diagnosis they needed and if I could come back within 20 minutes they could do it. Duh, I was at Tier1 trying to get the forms completed and missed the 20 minute window. So, after all that, I was reschedule for the next morning on a stand by basis. They got me in next morning and took about 5 minutes to complete the scan. My concern with all this, why did someone not let me know in the weeks I was waiting so all this could have been addressed before waiting all that time then finding that out when I got there and then running me all over town to find out the diagnosis was there all the time. Sounds like someone hadn’t done their job and completed the filing with Medicare nd my supplemental companies. Just totally incompetent office work.

I arrived and checked myself in on the computer and sat down. Later I was called back to check in and they asked me silly questions, and I signed papers and sat down again. A few games of solitaire later I was called back to be seen. Then I left.

Was in for my yearly physical. My Doctor was very informative and helpful. She is always a pleasure to see. I appreciate having her.
