Everything was great, but, the first nurse that started my IV was getting ready to go to lunch and she told me that after the bag she started was finished that I would have to either get a shot or another small bag that had the medicine in it (reclasp) I think it was called. I had to get it for my osteoporosis. I could be wrong but I am pretty sure the first nurse told me I had to get more medicine after my first bag finished. I'm sorry if I am incorrect. Prompt, courteous, efficient

The nurse, Kim Thomason, was very kind and professional. When I felt a bit lightheaded after the injection, Kim offered me a drink or a snack which I declined because I had a bottle of water with me. I sat for several minutes and then left. I appreciated the care that I was given at the time of my infusion injection.

Kary, Tara, and the ladies at the Infusion Center are wonderful. They've done their best to accomodate all of my autoimmune/immunosuppression special needs/requests like putting me in a private room. Aside from that, they make what could be a stressful or uncomfortable/painful experience of sitting for hours in an uncomfortable chair with debilitating pain very relaxing and comfortable by offering pillows, blankets, and offering to order lunch or bring drinks. The cherry on top though are their personalities and bedside manner. For anyone like myself who frequently interacts with physicians or medical personnel, it's extremely important to connect on a human level and feel safe with the people administering your care or treatment. Having someone willing to answer questions or simply make an effort to get to know you beyond your diagnosis, as a human being, improves outcomes because when a patient is stressed and feels like their healthcare provider doesn't actually care about them or their outcome hinders healing and recovery.
