The tour was fine, Sue was wonderful and very friendly. The issue is that my mother prefers to do her own laundry in the privacy of her own room. The laundry facility was not very convenient and was not a very inviting environment for a resident. It felt very industrial’.

More attention should be paid to providing an orientation for new residents about items such as informing them about pushing a button for checking in each morning and the location of that button. I was embarassed to ask what button and where it was located when I received calls from a staff person because I did not check in. In general perhaps some kind of an orientation could be scheduled for the new residents regarding these types of things we should do.
