Christian was a pleasure to work with. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable on the car we purchased. On the other hand, Chad, the finance manager, was not a pleasure to work with. We were eligible for the graduate discount of $511. When Chad approached us regarding this, we provided graduation collateral including commencement itinerary with my name in it and email correspondence from the University outlining instructions for graduation. Chad stated "this could be produced on a home computer and will not be accepted". I then stated that my finacee also purchased a Honda one month prior in PA and did not need to produce any collateral as proof of graduation. Chad's comment to this was "This dealership follows the rules". He then instructed me to go on my school website and pull up my transcript. When I could not locate it, he asked for my phone and began to search himself. To me, this was an invasion of privacy and a condescending approach. I felt very uncomfortable and simply wanted to complete the transaction promptly.
