This is the third response to ratings and/or survey that have been requested. Firstly, last year, I contacted the svc. dept. due to issues with my steering "sticking". They stated it was something to do with the EPS gear box/steering rack, etc. I brought my car after waiting a few months for the part to arrive. So, just this month, I received a SAFETY RECALL regarding the EPS/Steering issue recall. I phoned the svc. dept. and specifically asked had this not been taken care of already later last year. I was told to "i need to have the vehicle inspected". I set up the appointment and had the inspection done. There were no issues except for the ones that were pointed out to me at the time of my last service which was pretty recent. AT NO TIME would anyone answer my direct question regarding the EPS Recall which I found to be a bit strange. The response from my service consultant was "the inspection was completed". So, I am not certain if the EPS/Steering Rack issue was properly addressed LAST year and just rechecked at my most recent visit or not. I assume the REPAIR or part replacement LAST year corrected the safety recall issue, as I've not had the "sticky" steering happen again. I just wish someone could have been a bit more forthcoming on the whole situation, as I didn't ever get the recall notice until last month! Thanks again.
