I bought 3 Toyota’s from Courtesy Toyota and always had a great experience with all of my cars …and always with great service until now. I bought a brand new 2024 Toyota Corolla SE and after 2.5 years, the rubber/material on the top of all 4 doors is spotted, stained, pock marks and getting worse and it looks looks awful on my beautiful car.. The car is still under warranty until February and I paid lots of extra money for the full service contract coverage. The Manager told my service rep, David, that it was spotted and stained because I took it to a car wash?? I have taken all my Toyota’s to a car wash and never had this issue! They also suggested it could be a “sap trees” and I have no sap trees in my yard or at my parking garage at work. This is a defect and should be covered under my warranty that is good until February. They said it would cost $1,300 to replace rubber material. Courtesy Toyota should stand behind my Toyota Corolla SE warranty and my full service contract for my car I bought from you 2.5 years ago.I am asking you to honor my warranty, my service contract and because it is the right thing to do for a loyal customer and fix this defect for $1,300.
