I called Toyota to ask about the cost to replace the batteries in both of my remote-control keys and also to ask where I needed to go to have the rear passenger door checked because the door was giving problems unlocking or opening when it was unlocked. I was told by the customer service rep I would have to go to the service department to get it checked but it would not be the same department that does the oil change service. I was also told my car would be checked but I wouldn't be charged anything unless I decided to get it repaired.I was then transferred to another department and was told it would cost over $131 for the key battery replacement. I asked the rep for clarification $131 for both and the customer rep said yes. I went over to service and Abba Nasser was the service rep who assisted me. He provided me with different information from what both the female and male customer service reps provided me over the phone. I was skeptical about leaving my car due to the discrepancies.To make a long story short. Abbas called me to inform me he had just texted me the link which had the information of what repair was needed for the door and the cost. I remained on the phone with Abbas and opened the link. I gave him detailed information of my concerns due to the discrepancies I received from the customer service reps when I called in. Abbas reassured me he was going to look further into the matter. Due to my past and most recent negative experiences with Toyota's service reps and manager at the Brandon location, I ultimately made up in my mind that nothing was going to happen. I only took a chance to have my car checked by them again because I was told it was going to be in a different department.I am ecstatic that Abbas was the services representative who assisted me last week Friday. He did look further into the matter. He was professional, courteous, easy to talk to, patient, informative and showed genuine interest in my concerns. There are not enough words that can express my gratitude for Abbas customer service skills. I was concerned about the cost due to the misinformation I received from the customer service reps. He went above and beyond to make sure he provided me with outstanding and meticulous customer service by rectifying the problem. I have never received stellar service like this in the 6+ years I’ve brought my car to this Toyota location for service. You deserve the recognition for making my experience the best experience I've ever had at Toyota!!!!! Thank you, Abbas, once again for demonstrating Excellent customer service skills.
