Everyone is always so professional, helpful and pleasant. Dr. McAsey and his assistant Dr. Kelly were great. i’ve always had great Care in any office I go to for my visits and even great care when I had my surgery for my right hip replacement. My recent appointment was at the Oxon Hill office at the National Harbor, which is also where I had my surgery.

Dr McAsey is a true Dr and gentleman. He never seemed in a rush during the first appointment and patiently answered all my questions. Most amazing is that the pain level was a 4-5 after surgery and the next day down to 2. I took only one Oxy half and an hour before bedtime and that was it. I don’t feel like I need Tylenol even. Dr McAsey called to check the next afternoon as promised. You will feel at ease

They broke HIPAA regulations. They broke my foot and blamed my anatomy. They misrepresent or don’t share the severity of issues with the patient. For example, my 7th implant became infected and was septic. Despite asking the doctor and multiple fellows if I had an infection (which they were treating) I couldn’t get a straight answer—but no one said yes. They communicated that they didn’t know if it was infected, but would treat as if it was. However, when I saw the medical notes, it said it was septic, or infected. When I brought this to the doctor, he first said he did tell me (not true), vthen downplayed the fact that they never told me it was septic despite my direct questions. Seven of the implants failed. They cost my family hundreds of thousands of dollars for surgeries that all failed. Be sure to have excellent insurance. Other doctors I consulted with were concerned that I was operated on eight times in 12 months. Most people I tell about my experience are shocked that I made it through. If this happened to someone older (>50), I’m not sure the what the outcome would be. Today, after 12 months, I am now relearning to walk.
I have nothing but praise. Dr. McAsey is simply the best out there.
