I had a few questions and concerns at this 4-month post hip replacement surgery appointment. Dr McAsey carefully explained (and re-explained!) things to me. He was so generous with his time and I very much appreciated that. A wonderful doctor.

Excellent as always

The staff is very friendly and informative. Dr. McAsey has been great at explaining the situation and providing options. I never felt pressured to make any decision. I’ve had 2 hip replacements, 1 knee replacement and prepping for one more. Each surgery was very successful and my quality of life has significantly improved. I have recommended Dr. McAsey to several friends and co-workers and will continue to do so. He’s the best!

The staff are very professional but also caring, Dr McAsey knows what he is doing and very outgoing which is great you don't feel like you are a number, he cares about his patients.

Everything is good as it was the first time that you done the right hip

I started with a conversation with Dr. McAsey's fellow, Dr. Lee, who was really wonderful - easy to talk with, knowledgeable, and practical. After listening to my symptoms, she gave me news I didn’t like, but that made sense. And she gave me some good suggestions to mitigate my pain and maintain my mobility. Dr. McAsey is wonderful! He reviewed what Dr. Lee and I discussed and endorsed her suggestions. And in addition to being a great surgeon who stays up on improvements in his field, Dr. McAsey is a really nice man - he gave me a prescription for pilates because I have been finding relief with it. If you have to have your knee replaced, I heartily endorse Dr. McAsey and Anderson Clinic.

I had left knee replacement surgery at the Clinic’s National Harbor facility. Given the circumstances for my visit, Elizabeth, Jenna and the staff helped Dr. McAsey make a painful experience much more tolerable than it might have been. Lizabeth in particular was quite pleasant and considerate in getting me through the introductory pain of the Physical Therapy for reacquainting my knee with a normal range of motion and daily activities. I really appreciated the group’s overall outstanding effort. I have much more confidence in a successful result for this surgery and the second replacement in the near future.
