Before coming to Anderson Clinic, I saw an orthopedist at Inova. He was patronizing and dismissive and I would actually cry in his office because I couldn't figure out how to be heard. That was regarding the knee that Dr. Saddler operated on, which clearly needed surgery. The cause of my visit to Dr. McAsey was much fuzzier. I would have understood if Dr. McAsey were a bit dismissive under the circumstances, but he was not. He listened and provided a clear plan that gave me confidence. The difference in patient treatment is remarkable, and I am grateful.

Rated a 4 because the appt took 2 hours before I saw the doctor. Other than that the staff and Doctor were Excellent.

Dr McAsey was wonderful and overall my experience with his care team has been very positive. This was my second hip replacement, so I was familiar with the procedure. I do wish Dr McAsey had checked in with a phone call after surgery. With my last hip replacement, Dr Hamilton did this and I found it very professional.
