The Garage is only 1/3 full in the summer time, and 2/3 full in the dead of winter. Why so few people using it? The idea of charging us $45 to park in the garage made for renters use is criminal. The itemized charges that go with this complex are more numerous and absurd than elsewhere. The only thing left to charge us for is the air we breathe ... when is that coming?

Some vehicles are left in the garage in a more permanent nature. It would be unfair for those vehicles to sit in more prime parking slots for lengthy periods. Also, people leave and arrive back to the garage at different times throughout the week. For those who arrive back after standard hours, they will typically only have access to the less desirable parking spots. By keeping assigned parking, there will be no jockeying for the best spots, and it will keep it fair among all, especially for those who may not be able to jockey for spots in the first place.

At least one assigned larking per apartment keeps things organized and fair for every resident

Assigned parking helps with conflict and keeps things organized. Can help with information in case of accidents or damage.

A lot of cars in the parking garage sit there and collect dust making the spots unusable for others. Please keep assigned parking.

If there are extra spots open or not wanted have them be open anyone to pay for them. Maybe a lottery system for who gets them

What is the purpose of this change? I’m genuinely wondering. The tenants of this building already operate as if it’s a lawless land. The things people do, from recycling incorrectly, leaving the shopping carts all over the building, letting their kids use the hallways as their playground, letting their dogs pee and poop on the carpeting and not cleaning up after them, smoking marijuana inside the building, there is one structure that remains and that is assigned parking spaces. People already leave their vehicles down there with flat tires and dead batteries, at least they are leaving it in their own space. I am not paying what we pay to live here, to have to park outside because all of the parking spaces are taken by people who work from home while I get home late. If you are wanting to make a change, I’d start with installing cameras in the trash room and pursuing those that break the garbage rules and cost us all money monthly.

There are a few spots by the elevator that don't seem to be used. Maybe some people can pick those spots up

I like knowing where I’m going to park each time I come into the lot. Especially since we are paying $45 per spot.

I keep my bike in the front of my space. It works well for me to have an assigned space. I like the predictability and routine. I don't want to have to hunt for a spot and look for my car every time I enter or leave the garage.
