I experienced a very unpleasant experience of having a "Check Transmission" light pop on while driving down I-85, in rural Virginia - south of Richmond. As I Googled this warning light - the recommendation from Acura is to stop driving the car as quickly as possible. Luckily, I came upon and pulled over into a state rest area in Dinwiddie VA. I called Crown Acura to see, if I had this car towed to their dealership, could they work me in (this was a Friday afternoon). I ended up speaking to Service Advisor Chris Young. Chris assured me that he could get the car in, and to put it on a scope to see what the problem really was. To his word, Chris worked me in quickly, and they determined that it was a known Acura issue with the Torque Converter. I was assured I could drive the car safely - even if the light reappeared (which it did). I was able to make it back home safely - and was able to get the car over the Hendrick Acura in Charlotte - where they have replaced the TC. Chris's reaction to my stress was terrific and greatly appreciated. I would high recommend doing business with Crown Acura service - based on my experience with Chris Young. He deserves a pay raise! Easy scheduling, fast prompt service, nice new waiting area - though I miss the hot water dispenser for my hot tea!
