When I initially inquired about a cruise on the Norwegian Encore, I spoke with Charmin Stallworth at x38382. She indicated that with the purchase of the cruise, we would get $100 onboarding credits from cruises.com. I called back the next day to proceed with the booking. Since Charmin was not available, I spoke with a man in customer care. I asked about the $100 on boarding credits, and he told be that I would need to complete a profile with cruises.com to get 5000 points, which I did, and with the purchase of the cruise, we would get enough points for the $100 onboarding credit. Charmin did not advise of this and simple stated that we would get the $100 credit with purchasing the cruise. When the cruise purchase points were added in, I was 1070 points short of being able to redeem for the $100 credit. I called back and spoke to a different man in customer care and was told there was nothing he could do to get me the extra points and Charmin should not have promised the $100 on boarding credit. He suggested that I reach out to Charmin directly to see if there is anything she can do. I have left 3 messages with Charmin explaining the situation and she has not returned my calls. This is very frustrating to me. I feel like I was mislead. I still want to be able to get the full $100 credit as I as promised and am also looking for some other perks to rectify this.
