I don't have an issue with CubeSmart, per se. I have an issue with the specific managers that happened to be assigned to properties I stored at. As a shareholder and a former customer, I don't even know why they have jobs.The manager at one has an abusive husband who is not an employee going around threatening tenants and talking crazy to people. So much so, that in the spring of this year we had to call the police and make a report.And the other one is a know it all that thinks she's far more important than she is. Neither of them respect boundaries, and one of them turns out to have quite an interesting legal past as well.Guess what? It's for violating a restraining order and stalking. Identical to the behavior that individual exhibited toward me from day one.And, since contacting anyone at the corporate level did nothing to discourage this, I've simply moved on.

Smells like weed, people living in indoor units, unsafe environment for my wife to go to alone.

I was renting for about two months when the roof started to leak. The customer service representative said oh yeah that roof leaks like it was a known issue. Good thing I had insurance but so many things destroyed. The roof to my knowledge has not been fix. Idle it has great but the drywall in my unit still smells of water damage. .
