I had a terrible experience at this CubeSmart location and strongly advise others to think carefully before storing their belongings here. My unit was burglarized, and I lost thousands of dollars worth of personal items. After going through this ordeal, it became painfully clear that the facility’s security is severely inadequate.Despite presenting itself as a secure storage option, security cameras are only at the building entrance and in the elevators. There are no cameras in the hallways where the units are located, meaning any criminal activity near the storage units goes completely unrecorded. Because of this, there was no footage of the burglary whatsoever.When I reported the break-in, I was told that too much time had passed—six months—and CubeSmart would not review or investigate any security footage. This response felt completely unacceptable, especially from a company that advertises safety and security.I also want to mention the lack of support I received after the burglary. Based on my experience speaking with the location manager, Jordan, I was informed that the district manager at the time, Rubin Ibarra, was contacted regarding my situation. I was told that a complimentary replacement lock would not be provided, meaning I had to pay for a new lock myself immediately after discovering the break-in. This added frustration during an already stressful moment.The problems didn’t end there. On my move-out day, the elevator closest to my unit was out of service, which made moving extremely difficult. When I returned to the facility three weeks later, that same elevator was still not repaired. This speaks volumes about the lack of maintenance and customer care at this location.Finally, CubeSmart’s billing practices are unfair. They do not prorate rent, even with 30 days’ notice. I moved out on November 1st, yet I was still required to pay rent until November 26th, the end of their billing cycle. Paying nearly a full month for a unit I had already vacated feels unreasonable and like poor business practice.Overall, my experience with CubeSmart was stressful, costly, and disappointing from start to finish. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision — I truly wish I had known about these issues before choosing this facility.

Ease of usage

Storage facility was fine and the onsite manager Jordan was very helpful and professional. CubeSmart raising my monthly fee so soon and abruptly is terrible business. I wouldn’t have moved my stuff into storage with y’all if I knew the price agreed upon wouldn’t be honored.

Affordable and conveniently located. But carts are hard to come by.

The place was very well kept and had the necessary space and tools necessary to transport large storage objects into the storage space. In addition, the manager did routine checks to ensure the safety of the area, and also cancelled the lease for me when they noticed I moved out.
