Rate increase without notification

The unit that I had was overpriced and there were always bugs and mice droppings in my unit. I also understand that it is an old facility but it could be maintained better for the price. Additionally, the young lady that has the glasses and brunette hair and bang always had a nasty attitude. On the phone and in person. I would recommend this place if it was an emergency with no other options l.

Hours and Ease of Access

I chose this location about eight years ago because it was the least expensive in the area. It is a very old building that CubeSmart converted into storage units. Until this past summer, the only time you could get in the building was during post office hours, when there was actually an employee there.I have been down there several times during business hours and the facility was closed because somebody decided not to come to work that day. Also, the elevator that was closest to my unit has been broken about half a dozen times over the last seven or eight years, which means you have to go to the opposite side of the building and maneuver through the whole place to get to your storage. None of the units have any kind of lighting over top of them so when you’re in your unit, it’s always very dark. When I emptied my unit earlier this week wanted to go in the office, there was a sign on the door that she would return at 2:45 PM. I waited until 3:30 and no one ever returned. The service in this unit is barely adequate. Not to mention there’s been a dramatic increase since I moved in. Would really not recommend CubeSmart, especially this particular facility.

Pros: Staff easy to work with, storage price started out very affordableCons: storage access hours updated but was not informed, monthly price kept increasing
