The unit itself was fine. We had difficulty using the app to open the entrance gate several times ( didn’t work).The monthly cost has doubled since we first became a customer

Inconsistent pricing. Rate increases for no reason. One tenant pay $107 for the same unit another pays $47 for. Unfair pricing

I moved my property from one unit to another at the one CubeSmart location. On the day of the move I realized I didn't have my key since I had just changed purses. I was already on the property and so was the moving company crew. They were kind at least and said they would wait. However, the employee at CubeSmart volunteered to cut off the lock. He was also showing another customer a unit. I was anxious to get back to my business as I own a bikeshop- and also I would have to pay more to the moving company for their time waiting. So I simply asked the employee if he could help me out and take the lock off before waiting on the other customer. Well, I could see this upset that customer and the employee really got his back up. I did not mean to pressure him. All he had to do was politely refuse and I would have accepted that. He finished up with the customer and very angrily returned to my unit in an agitated state with his drill to remove the lock. The two man moving crew and I said nothing to him and stood well from him as he removed the lock. It got even uglier with this employee because at some point the employee told me he was going to REPORT ME TO HIS SUPERVISOR. It was just crazy.I returned two months later to access my new unit and find I cannot get into the gate. I used the app and cannot login. I believe this employee or someone deleted my information and removed my autopay deliberately so the company could confiscate my property. The manager insisted that they didn't have a phone number or information on my new unit. That's because the employee never changed the unit number on my account and even deleted my account. That's why there weren't any auto-pays. And I go in there to inquire and to talk to the onsite manager who now threatens to confiscate my property because someone- his employee- deleted my account apparently.Karen Classen
