My experience with CubeSmart has been unacceptable. In less than a year, my monthly rate increased from $53 to $118 without any clear justification. This kind of pricing feels excessive and misleading.The facility itself is unreliable—elevators are frequently out of service, making it difficult to access my second-floor unit. During construction, my belongings were damaged, which reflects poorly on how the property is maintained.Customer service has also been disappointing. Staff are difficult to locate and interactions have been unprofessional. Communication is inconsistent, with important rate increase notices sent only by mail while all other correspondence is handled digitally.Overall, the combination of steep price increases, poor facility conditions, and lack of reliable customer support makes this a service I cannot recommend.

Constant raising of prices. We would have stayed, but you kept making the price uncompetitive. I got a similar amount of space at Public Storage for less than half.OTOH, the staff and staffing got much better recently.

The premises is filthy all your things get covered in dirt and the employees are disrespectful and rude. One of them locked me in the garage for over 30mins. While another (the manager) shut the door on my son telling him she didn’t know who he was. When she had just seen him in her office with me.

I've never dealt with a more incompetent staff and most if not all of my items were ruined from building floods and leaks. Despite this, the rates on my unit increased arbitrarily, and I could not even reach the right staff member to properly discuss it. Andrea is a terrible facility manager and was quite rude to us when we did finally reach her. She always said she would call us back, and never did. The facility/management being allowed to operate as it does feels illegal.
