My mother and I have been storing here for many years, even before it switched ownership. Instead of being thankful for our loyalty and patronage, we are punished for it with ceaseless and at times ridiculous price increases, as well as implications of being other than honest. My mother usually has a total of 3 units at any given time, and keeps them for several years, even though the prices go up and up. Lockers starting at $19 that go up after 4 months, then after 8 months etc. She was paying over $60 at the end for a tiny 5x5 locker. So trust us, she did pay the higher rates too. The manager (Asia) explained that you can only get the special discount rate once and then not again until after you close all accounts, then wait 6 months to a year to come back as a "new customer." So we moved things out over time into an empty bedroom in our building and vacated all my mom's units because at this point her units were far too expensive. Before we finished, I opened a large unit for $270. After 3 months, you raised the price to $340. I was livid. You can't imagine how difficult it was to carefully fit everything in there and now we knew no matter what it took, we would have to close this unit since $340 was unacceptable. When I opened my small storage locker, it happened to be the day before my mom closed one of her storage lockers and Asia said to her, "Your daughter just opened her locker yesterday, and today you are in here closing your locker. You see how that looks?" And looked at her with accusation as if she was committing a crime. My mom said to her, "Is there a problem?" and Asia told her that this was exactly what she was explaining to her before. This was not true because the conversation had been only about whether a person can only be a "new customer" once in their life and had nothing to do with the timing of entirely separate individuals opening and closing accounts. When my mom pressed and asked again if there was a problem, Asia said no, but was shaking her head in disapproval and made my mother extremely uncomfortable.We had seen nothing in any of the terms of service that stated that it was forbidden for someone in the same nuclear family to open the same size unit a day after someone else closes theirs.My mother did some research and spoke with a facility in Ohio and was able to reserve a 10x10x11 for $107 a month. Even with the cost of renting a small box truck, gas and tolls and driving time, there was still a savings of $2000 for the 1st year, and that's assuming there would be no further price increases from you guys, which would never happen! The facility in Ohio gives a free month if you pay a year up front and also locks in the price for the whole year. Increases are limited to about $5-10 once a year, and you can appeal them to get them reduced.We go to Ohio twice a year so this is perfect for long term storage and bringing just a few things back and forth as needed.In the past, we had been happy with this facility overall. We would have remained loyal customers for many years. That has changed. Now we will only use this place at the bare minimum. There are a couple of men that work there that are absolute GEMS. I think one's name is Gary Love (?) and the other I think his name is Davon? Absolute sweethearts. Asia should not be in customer service. She has very unpleasant energy and speak in a rude manner and when you point it out to her, simply denies it.

Compared to another facility I used before moving in (Extra storage) I found the facility to be ok but with some issues: one elevator is broken, the other elevator seems to have a moldy air ventilation, in addition the unit I rented did not look as clean as the o e I moved from

Your increase in cost was so much of a jump up in fees.Your blocking the use of the hallway door causing people to have to walk outside and around to the other door.Your care of the bathroom is horrible.

Facility is clean and efficiently designed. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. Neisha at the front desk was particularly helpful in getting things set up for me, but the rest of the staff I encountered were nice as well.
