The relationship started rough, no one on site at either property (same street), no note on the door directing customers when someone would return. Called customer service they were wonderful, they took me through the entire "reservation" live which was terrific until I arrived back @the property 1262 N Arizona Ave to open my unit. When I did I noticed the "welcome" bag did not contain the lock as stated that I would be charged for monthly. I attempted several times to locate an employee on either property (along with several other people) to no avail. I called into customer service who approved for me to purchase my own lock & Cubesmart would update the contract and resend with $0.00 charge for the lock. I did just that & left. I check for the next two days & never received an revised contract. I attempted to reach management at this location & the adjacent property to no avail again. Then I called customer service again they would have the district manager call back as the only thing this rep insisted that I do (and repeated it several times as if I had an altered mental status) was to sign the contract as is & cubesmart will credit the lock price back, at the rate this relationship is going I did not have much faith in your company. Then the DM called back, he was short in his words which I perceived as rude, argonaut, & aggressive. Had the nerve to laugh at me on the phone when I asked him to "take it down a notch the tone in which he was speaking with me was not necessary). Then he said I had to come in person and quickly (y'all had me rent this unit without taking payment apparently). This does not constitute that I, the customer, have done something wrong here. Then came the threat or "promise" as he referred to of locking my unit with his own lock if I did not arrive. First of all I arrived on a Monday due to a death in our family and I knew that the rest of our week would be very very heavy and busy and now he is insisting I come down during this time "or else?" He said all I needed to do was call and he would meet me. Within that same hour I returned his call, you never get a live person, I leave a message that I will arrive in 15 minutes. I waiting in the 113 degree heat and no one called back nor showed up. There was another potential customer there who was also promised someone would be there and she waited longer than I did. We watched a cleaning crew arrive and leave. Then we saw an employee pull in however it turns out still wasn't your DM, however after waiting by the door for 15 minutes the other customer and I went looking for the employee. It was Tyler from a different location who was very sweet & professional about helping both of us resolve our issue. Tyler called back late that night (Wed) said everything was ready and in my email but I had to pay for it THAT NIGHT. I was in the middle of delivering food for the family (we have had a death as I mentioned earlier). I logged on eventually and the contract was THE EXACT same no changes. It was after hours so I left a message for Tyler and Tylers location immed. I called back after 7AM the next morning and left another message. I received a call later in the day (1:39 PM) from a very nice young lady, who said she could still see the lock charge on there and that she would reach back out to the DM and call me back. Here we are 25 hours later still no return call and no new contract. What in the world is happening here at this business?

Can't ever vet a hold of anyone on the phone, otherwise no issues.

Just got it. Had problem with latch / lock and was notified promptly. So security is great so far. Unit space seems smaller than I need but will make it work
