I’m giving this rating specifically because of the Narragansett location. I’ve had multiple negative experiences with the staff, and the fees feel never-ending. It honestly seems like every few months the rates go up, and corporate has zero interest in negotiating or working with customers.The first issue happened when I forgot to update my card on file and had also changed my phone number. That situation was on me, and I understood that. The fees added up to over $300, which I paid without arguing because I accepted responsibility.The second time is where things became unacceptable. I updated my payment method, corrected my phone number, and double-checked my email. I was under the impression my bill was being paid after switching cards. Then, not even a week before my unit was set to go to auction, I received a call saying I had an outstanding balance from the last 2–3 months.I was told they had been trying to contact me, which made no sense. I had zero emails, zero voicemails, and only a single phone call during that entire period. When I tried calling back, no one answered. I was forced to show up in person and pay a pile of fees that could have easily been avoided with proper communication.There was no customer service, no sympathy, and no willingness to take accountability—just “pay or lose your unit.” Between the attitude of the staff and the constant, unexplained fees, this location has been nothing but frustrating. I would not recommend doing business here unless you’re prepared to constantly monitor your account and fight unnecessary charges.

The only person that deserves a 10 is Priscilla, the branch manager. Very nice, understanding, and supportive!!cubesmart treated us like trash. Took advantage of us and increased our rate multiple times in one year. Goodbye!!Never coming back!
