Well started out with a covered storage for my rv then snow damaged the roof and I had to move out into the parking lot Which then had to buy a 300 cover to protect it now.I have spoken to the manager and he told me all leases have been canceled over there until it gets fixed I just feel like I’ve been kind of put out lost my space and now have to store it outside.he did say that my spot would not be given away.I understand it needs to be fixed but I really just feel like everything was taken away from me.Hoping it gets fixed very fast

Property and units were clean and well-caree-for; easy to get in and out and felt secure

I have had this storage shed for nearly 14 years. Early on the property flooded from heavy rains and I had a significant amount of damage to things I had stored in that shed. Damage was reported and I was told CubeSmart would get back to me but this never happened. I had to throw out a large part of what was stored there. Subsequently rates began to increase rather rapidly and rather significantly. I then had several issues with bills being paid with their ensuing exorbitant late fees. These occurred in part because my automated bill pay through my bank did not get updated in time to change the amount of the payment, but the lesser payment was paid. Result- late fee f(18%) and I had to write another check for full amount because they would not cash the other check they had in hand. More recently I was out of the country and was unable to change an amount and once again a late fee! Most recently my bank account was hacked and once new accounts were set up and new check written, another late fee was assessed despite the f act that they already had the new check in their hands. Late fee was again assessed and I was threatened with a lien being placed on my account if the debt was not paid that day!! No mention of when the lien would be placed! This has never happened to me in all the years I have been paying bills to various companies! I have been assessed the largest late fee of any company (fortunately not often) and NEVER been threatened with a lien! By comparison, a mortgage payment I pay on our beach home also got caught by the bank hack and was 15 days late. I got a phone call from them during which I informed them what had happened and they said they would call me when the new check (which had also been written already ) arrived and they would erase the late fee because I had been such a good customer! The check was there the next day and all was good and they were happy and they had a happy customer who was not penalized for something not in my power! So why no good review? Ridiculous price increases, exorbitant late fees, ridiculous refusal to not cash check in hand while accepting "late fee" check and requiring me to jump hoops with bank to get check cancelled while rewriting new check, and the fact that a threatening letter informing me that a lien would be placed on my account 15 days after a check was not processed is all such poor customer service! And this is not to mention that for several years, there was no attempt to fix some ceiling tiles which were hanging down in my unit and the lock system was extremely difficult to open most of the time! Your only saving grace was the manager of the facility was a nice person despite my frustrations!! I am so happy to never have to deal with your company and the ridiculous late fees, etc.... again- and I will not recommend you to anyone!
